Terms and Conditions

Your gambling agreement

Your gambling contract is with Betway Limited, company C39710, registered in Malta. For Great Britain, the licensing and regulatory authority is the Gambling Commission, with account reference 39372. Access to the GB gambling service is restricted to people in the UK. You accept the account agreement through registration or use of the gambling services. If you cannot accept it, you must not use those services.

Gambling involves possible financial loss, and you take responsibility for money lost through your play. Customer balances are banked separately from business funds. This arrangement provides insolvency protection and meets the Gambling Commission category of high protection.

Registration and eligibility

You must have reached 18 before using the gambling service. Before any gambling begins, verification must establish your identity, including your birth details and residential address. Where an automatic match fails, you must supply identification evidence. This can include photographic identification and a utility bill or banking statement issued within the preceding six months.

Further documents may be required until verification is satisfactory. While checks remain incomplete, restrictions can affect deposits, play and access to withdrawals. Unsuccessful verification can lead to suspension, eventual closure and disclosure to the relevant authorities. Employees and their immediate families are excluded from participation.

Personal account responsibilities

Register just one account and use it personally. Additional accounts can be closed, with their wagers cancelled and positive balances retained. Bonuses obtained through a duplicate account and pending winnings arising from those bonuses can also be cancelled. Deliberate or fraudulent duplication can result in closure of every account involved.

Keep your registration information accurate and tell Customer Service when it changes. Protect your password from disclosure. Activity authenticated with your correct credentials remains attributable to your account. You must not let another person play through it or use it commercially.

Funding your balance

Your payment card or bank account must bear your own registered name. Credit card funding is prohibited, including money routed through a wallet from a credit card. Business debit cards and personal corporate debit cards are also excluded. Stakes must come from the balance already available to you, without borrowing through the account. Money retained there earns no interest.

Taking money out

Withdrawal access covers your cash balance once incoming payments are cleared and verification is satisfactory. Reversed or cancelled deposits, chargebacks and investigations into prohibited conduct or incorrect game payments can prevent release. Relevant transactions may be cancelled and affected winnings withheld where those conditions apply.

For PayPal and debit card withdrawals, the minimum amount is £5. If your remaining balance is smaller, you can withdraw that balance after deduction of a £1 handling charge. Return payments use the original funding method where possible. Depending on the payment option, the transfer may arrive in several parts. Charges imposed by your payment provider remain separate.

Processing normally takes no more than 24 hours, subject to permitted delays or withholding. Weekend handling can differ. Further identity evidence may be needed to establish that the money belongs to you, potentially extending processing. Customer Service must handle changes or additions to withdrawal payment details.

Accounts left unused

Twelve months without signing in triggers inactive status. Before that classification, you will be contacted and an attempt made to repay your cash balance through your latest deposit method, unless withholding is permitted. A £5 monthly administration charge then applies until you sign in again or the credit is exhausted.

After eighteen months without signing in, dormant status results in closure. You can request return of any cash still remaining by contacting support.

Prohibited conduct and account action

Fraud, collusion, stolen funding, false identity information and software designed to exploit gambling systems are prohibited. Suspected breaches can trigger account suspension during investigation, preventing access to funds. Established prohibited conduct can lead to permanent closure and withholding of the money attributable to that conduct. Illegal activity can remove entitlement to repayment of the entire balance.

Incorrect winnings and legal rights

Winnings caused by a game error or malfunction can be removed even when the problem was not immediately apparent. Money already withdrawn from such winnings must be repaid on request. Stop using an affected game if you discover or suspect a fault, and report the issue to support.

Your statutory rights remain intact, including rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. English law governs the gambling agreement. Any legal proceedings you bring must be brought in your country of residence.
